That is the fact that Mr. Evans is the recognized subject matter expert in the history, design, and development of the ArmaLite AR-10: the original version and progenitor to the AR-15/M16/M4 family of firearms, which is far-and-away the most successful and popular rifle design for civilian sport shooters, police departments, and militaries in the world today.

His seminal work being published in February of 2016, Mr. Evans’s volume The ArmaLite AR-10: World’s Finest Battle Rifle continues to this day to be hailed as the definitive, authoritative reference on not only the history and deployment of this peerless weapons system, but the massive-and-growing compendium of intellectual property concerning it.

Mr. Evans has leveraged this knowledge and status to provide expert testimony in patent disputes involving innovations to the ArmaLite design, which while it was first designed and produced in the 1950s, is today still the most fertile field of small arms invention, innovation, and development.
